About Dr. Bloom

Dr. Miriam G. Bloom is a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the comprehensive care of children, adolescents, and adults. With over two decades of clinical experience, Dr. Bloom combines rigorous  education and training with a deep commitment to community and private mental health.

She earned her medical degree from Cornell University and completed her specialized residency and fellowship training at The Cambridge Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching affiliate. Before establishing her private practice in North Bethesda, Maryland, in 2005, Dr. Bloom held significant leadership roles, including serving as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School and as Medical Director of the Reginald S. Lourie Center for Infants and Young Children.

Today, Dr. Bloom provides expert psychiatric care through in-person consultations in Maryland and telemedicine services for patients across Maryland, New York, and Virginia.

Dr. Bloom maintains board certification in Adult Psychiatry and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry through the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons.
